EMERGENCY EVACUATION TRAINING

Overview

This course will ensure that all staff will be in a position to implement the organisation Fire & Emergency Evacuation Procedure in the event of an emergency.

Course Aim:

To ensure that the participants will have a clear understanding of the organisational Emergency Evacuation Procedure.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course the participants will have a clear understanding of:

• Their Roles & Responsibilities
• The Evacuation & Emergency Procedure
• Fire Hazards
• Fire Fighting Equipment
• Evacuation Chairs

Course Programme:

The course is delivered to a group of 10 participants over 4 hours with theory and practical fire evacuation training.

The course covers the following topics:

• Understanding the Risk of Fire
• Fire Evacuation Procedure
• Introduction to Legal Requirements
• Roles & Responsibilities
• Fire  Fighting Equipment
• Evacuation Chairs
• Management of Fire Risk
• Practical Example

Assessment & Certification

On successful completion of the course participants will be issued with a certificate which is valid for 3 years.
